You bring your computer in drop it off and we will look at it and let you know your problems and the cost to fix it BEFORE we start any repair.Our Free diagnostic varies in length depending on your problems. The full diagnostic consists of the following:
Physical Inspection – We look at the dust, fan functionality, and component wear and tear for anything that could cause your computer distress.
Hard Drive – The hard drive is where your computer stores information permanently. We run tests on your hard drive to look for errors that could be causing problems with your computer booting up, or accessing files.Some causes of a bad hard drive: Being dropped; Sudden shut off; Age
RAM – Your RAM, or memory, is where your computer stores information temporarily, such as what it is being displayed. Our diagnostic checks to make sure that every bit of it is in working order.Some causes of bad RAM: Heat; Electrostatic discharge; Age
Power Supply – Your computer power supply has several different voltages coming out of it. We make sure that not one of them is missing or incorrect, so your computer won’t stop powering on.Some causes of a bad power supply: Overheating (usually from dust); Power surge; Age
Infection Scan – Simply put, we look to see if your computer has any viruses, spyware, malware, or anything else potentially harmful or dangerous.
Stress Test – This runs your computer at maximum power. This will test the ability of your system to be able to handle a full load of work for you without locking up.Some causes for a failed stress test: Bad motherboard; Lack of RAM/bad RAM; Overheating
